Study Abroad Stipend Application: The student's study abroad experience must focus on cultural immersion, language development, area/regional studies, and/or national security and intelligence studies. The study abroad experience must be a minimum of four weeks to qualify.
Research Stipend Application: Students conducting academic research related to intelligence/national security are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
Professional Development Stipend Application: Students encouraged to seek professional development opportunities, including attendance at intelligence or technology related workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. Students are also encouraged to present their research at such events. Examples of eligible funding requests include conference registration fees, transportation costs, and lodging.
Internship Stipend Application: Funding is available for students who have secured internships within the federal Intelligence Community. The funding is intended to help defray student expenses incurred during the internship semester. Examples include transportation costs and living expenses.
Certificate in Intelligence and National Security - Critical Technology Studies Application: Provides students with an opportunity to apply advanced data science and technology skills to issues of intelligence and national security. This opportunity is open to students from a range of academic disciplines. STEM and non-STEM students are encouraged to apply.
These opportunities are open to Rutgers, Borough of Manhattan College, City College of New York, and New Jersey City University students. Due to the source of funding, applicants must be United States citizens to be eligible for these awards.
