Learn the basics of data science and technology usage in intelligence analysis and national security during this intensive 3-day training workshop at Rutgers-New Brunswick, which will be held June 4-6, 2019.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in an introductory experience in the application of data science in the intelligence community. Students do not need prior experience with data science to apply.
The workshop will comprise of:
- A full day conference of academics, practitioners and students presenting and discussing data science developments in the IC and the evolving threat environment
- Lectures from federal, state, private sector, and academic subject matter experts
- Hands on workshops and tutorials in which students will learn to apply basic data science skills to intelligence and security-related scenarios
- Writing and briefing modules led by intelligence analysts

The Rutgers Consortium for the consists of Rutgers University, Borough of Manhattan Community College, City College of New York, and New Jersey City University.
